The degradation of the lost monuments in Delhi poses a threat to the preservation of History. It is important to be aware of the possible harm environmental pollution can  cause on heritage sites. These sites have been around for centuries and play an important role in adding to India's rich culture, additionally these sites help us understand the country's history. I aim to raise awareness about the issue of degradation of heritage sites throughout my walks.

Preservation practices that I recommend people do is to respect the heritage sites by not littering around them, not putting graffiti on them or vandalizing them in any way. Although the Archaeological Survey of India does implement many preservation practices on a larger scale it is also important for individuals to make sure that they take care of the heritage sites.

I want to campaign for cleanliness by doing trash pick-ups during the walks to try and limit the pollution near the sites in order for them to last as long as possible. Trash and other forms of pollution cause great degradation and are disrespectful to the history of the site.
